R2 — vouch + onboarding hardening

Eight defects found before this reaches real people. Every screen below is the real component with demo data, screenshotted at desktop (1280) and phone (390). Cookie banner dismissed before capture; no horizontal scrolling at either width and no text under 12px on any screen.

The onboarding walk stops asking twice

Vouching for someone reloads the page, and the walk restarted from the top and asked for the same person again — quietly overwriting the first answer. Every row now knows who you have already vouched for.

A group of two stops asking too

The most common launch-week shape: one person joins your group and vouches for you. The simpler list they see had no memory of it, so it asked again on every visit forever. Before and after, side by side.

Home — the tour row and who leads the people row

The tour prompt keeps its no-button shape, exactly matching the other three action rows; opening and closing the tour now retires it for good instead of bringing it back every visit. In the people row, everyone waiting on your vouch back still leads — but they can no longer take the whole row and hide everyone else.

Fixes with no screen of their own

You can no longer be shown to yourself as someone to vouch for, from either place the app asks. The “you joined the group” message can no longer reappear on a visit that was not a join. And a test that claimed the opposite of what actually ships was removed along with the unused code it was guarding.
